1 week old 9/25/11

I can't believe it's already been a week!  Here is Harper's 1 week picture.  We'll do this every Sunday in the same spot so that you can see how much she has grown.  Harper has been eating and pooping a lot!  Uncle Jon told us once that you are excited to see poopy diapers in the beginning.  I didn't understand this at the time, but I get it now.  Poopy diapers are my favorite because they are a sign that she is getting enough food and things are passing through her system correctly. 

To celebrate Harper being 1 week old, we went with Kyle to a food trailer park downtown.  While we were there, I had to go back to the car to feed Harper.  I left the stroller next to the car while I sat inside to feed her, and her stroller nearly got stolen by a crack head!  Luckily, he moved on when I hit the window and called Quinito, who ran up behind him and put the stroller in the car.  It was Harper's first crack head experience, a great 1 week birthday moment. ;)  ( I realize how weird this story sounds, we really do live in a safe city...there just happened to be a crack head looming around on Sunday next to the food trailers!)  And to be fair, he could have just been homeless ;)

Also, today our neighbors across the street brought over a gift for Harper.  Their little girl sewed her a Winnie the Pooh blanket and they also included dog treats for Spyder.  We took this picture for their thank you card.  It was so sweet of them to think of us!

One other first; Harper tried out her vibrating chair/ swing and she seems to like it!  She took an hour long nap in it earlier!
