Today is here! It's been on every calendar I own since January, but it's been a day that we have waited for LONG before we knew the actual date. The "due" in this date is quite misleading though. We have realized that the end of this 9 month science project doesn't happen like it does in the movies. It's much more of a winding down process than a screeching halt. Harper Ann Madruga will come when she is darn good and ready, and that, apparently, is that.
So, instead of continuing to Google natural methods of induction, time will be better spent creating this blog. The purpose is simple: We're having a baby and I want to be able to passively share the exciting moments in our new family with people who are interested! I may think every milestone in Harper's life is the most exciting moment in history, but I know not everyone on my Facebook friends list cares or wants to know about it daily. We have family spread all over and I want to make sure everybody can get to know their newest family member and see her everyday if they want to! But, only on their own time and when they want to. :)
So, if you like, peek in from time to time for updates on Harper and our family!
Whatever happens, hopefully your doctor won't pressure you to have a c-section if Harper decides to wait another week or so. I regret having done so with Emily, my first one. Good luck with everything and I can't wait to eventually meet her. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
ReplyDeleteLove you. Can't wait to see you as a Mom. Always know my Mom, your Grandmother is watching over you.
